Drilling Grade sodium carboxymethyl cellulose CMC-HV is a high-viscosity thickening anionic cellulose ether and a cost-effective rheology modifier specialized for low-solid drilling fluids. With high thickening efficiency, it can significantly increase the plastic viscosity and yield point of drilling fluids, enhance drill cuttings suspension and carrying capacity, and meanwhile provides basic fluid loss effect to improve filter cake quality and assist in wellbore wall protection. With good compatibility with conventional drilling fluid additives, it is applicable to low-solid, low-density fresh water drilling fluids in shallow well sections, as well as well washing fluids and completion fluid systems, meeting the cuttings carrying and wellbore stability requirements of conventional shallow well drilling.
