Drilling fluid grade polyanionic cellulose PAC-HV is a high-viscosity, high-purity anionic cellulose ether with dual functions of viscosity building and fluid loss control, designed for low-solid, low-density water-based drilling fluid systems. Its high-molecular-weight long-chain structure can significantly increase the plastic viscosity and yield point of drilling fluid, enhance cuttings carrying and suspension capacity, and form a compact filter cake to control fluid loss. It has excellent salt resistance, calcium resistance and temperature resistance, with an outstanding effect on inhibiting shale hydration dispersion. With good compatibility with various drilling fluid additives, it is applicable to fresh water and brackish water drilling fluid systems, and is mostly used for drilling operations in shallow well sections and collapse-prone unstable formations.
