Drilling Grade sodium carboxymethyl cellulose CMC-LV is a low-viscosity, cost-effective anionic cellulose ether and a specialized fluid loss additive for conventional water-based drilling fluids. It has minimal impact on the rheological properties of drilling fluids, reduces fluid loss and improves filter cake quality without basically increasing system viscosity, and has basic salt and calcium resistance. With fast dissolution and good compatibility with conventional drilling fluid additives, it is applicable to high-density, high-solid fresh water drilling fluids for medium-shallow wells, as well as workover fluids and cementing slurry systems. It can effectively control fluid loss and protect wellbore walls, meeting the requirements of conventional low-cost drilling operations.
