Construction-grade Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) 2208 (modified high-temperature resistant grade) is a specialized core additive for dry-mix building materials optimized for high-temperature construction environments. It delivers excellent high-temperature water retention and stronger thermal stability, can greatly extend the open time and adjustable time of mortars in extremely hot conditions, and prevent rapid drying skinning and early cracking; it improves system workability and sag resistance, reduces application resistance, maintains stable performance over a wide pH range, and has good compatibility with cement, gypsum and various construction additives. With easy powder dispersion, fast dissolution and stable batch quality, it is particularly suitable for dry-mix building material systems such as tile adhesives, interior and exterior wall putties, plastering mortars, self-leveling compounds, joint fillers and exterior wall insulation mortars in summer high-temperature construction and dry-hot climate regions.
