Construction-grade Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) 2208 is a universal core additive for dry-mix building materials. It boasts excellent water retention and thickening performance, extends the open time and adjustable time of mortars, and is suitable for conventional and dry construction environments; it improves the workability and sag resistance of the system, reduces application resistance, maintains stable performance in a wide pH range, and has good compatibility with cement, gypsum and various construction additives. With easy dispersion, fast dissolution and stable batch quality, it is widely applicable to dry-mix building material systems such as tile adhesives, interior and exterior wall putties, plastering mortars, self-leveling compounds, joint fillers and exterior wall insulation mortars.
